The Industrial Spray Painter Helper plays a crucial role in supporting spray painting operations by preparing surfaces, assisting with spray painting tasks, and maintaining equipment. Working under direct supervision, this position provides dedicated support to a single painter, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. This role requires hands-on involvement with both manual and automated spray painting equipment in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, masking, and sanding
- Assist with spray painting using manual and automated equipment
- Clean and maintain painting equipment to ensure proper operation
- Handle materials and supplies in a safe and organized manner
- Comply with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate closely with the assigned painter to support workflow
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in industrial painting support
- Familiarity with spray painting techniques and surface preparation
- Understanding of safety compliance in industrial environments
- Ability to maintain and clean painting equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards
