Through the cultivation of thought leadership, we deliver sustainable and forward-thinking solutions to the most complex design challenges facing the world’s leading clients and partners.Job SummaryIntroba is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer for our growing Team in our St. Louis, MO location.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Provide technical assistance to the Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team LeadersMaintain Design files, including AutoCAD/RevitSet up heating and cooling load calculation file (i.e. Carrier HAP) - inputs to be checked by senior staffHVAC layout and drafting with minimal supervisionEnsure design checklist and technology standards are being followedCoordinate equipment selections from vendors using Introba selection procedures with assistance provided by senior staffCoordinate mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Electrical Consultants, etc.) under supervision of senior staffProvide construction administration services as directed and supervised by senior staffAttend site surveys with senior staff and independentlyTechnical System description writing for things like Basis of Design documentsCover external coordination meetings independently as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering DesiredGovernment, Healthcare, Education and/or Data Center experience desiredMinimum 5 years Revit experience (this could be a combination of academic & professional experience), coupled with 2 years design experience in HVACAbility to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision provided by senior staffAbility to apply prescriptive requirements of Energy Code with minimal supervisionKnowledge of energy modeling and calculations is desiredEIT classification is desiredAdditional Information#LI-HybridIntroba offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
