Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership and drive key human resources initiatives across the business. The role will oversee a small team of HR generalists.

Location: Houston, Texas (at least 4 days onsite)

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary HR partner to managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching
• Lead recruiting partnership, onboarding programs, and performance cycles
• Manage and develop HR team members while improving operational processes
• Oversee investigations, compliance, and policy implementation
• Track and analyze key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, compensation, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; a PHR or SPHR certification is also required
• 5+ years of HR business partner experience in multi-state environments
• Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruiting
• Proven ability to operate independently and support senior leadership
