Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized infusion nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, delivering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies with precision and compassion. Ensure adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols throughout all patient interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses during infusions, promptly addressing adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medication administrations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans and update treatment procedures.
• Educate patients on infusion procedures, post-care instructions, and medication side effects.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements and facility policies for safe clinical practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold active BLS and ONS chemo certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in infusion or oncology nursing.
• Demonstrate EPIC charting experience and proficiency in clinical documentation.
• Maintain an active state RN license or valid compact license.
• Able to pass required dysrhythmia and EKG exams within the designated timeframe.
• Willingness to work day shift, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.
