The Company is in need of an Interim CFO to provide strategic financial leadership during a transitional period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, supporting executive leadership, and ensuring the organization maintains strong financial stewardship across multiple funding sources and programs. Key responsibilities for the Interim CFO include providing executive-level financial guidance, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, managing cash flow forecasts, monitoring organizational liquidity, and leading audit preparation efforts. The role also involves mentoring and overseeing accounting and finance staff, as well as partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a background in nonprofit accounting and financial management, with experience in grant management, cash flow forecasting, audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CFO, Fractional CFO, VP of Finance, or in a similar senior financial leadership role. Advanced knowledge of cash flow forecasting and financial planning, as well as the ability to operate both strategically and tactically, are essential. Strong communication, leadership skills, and a preference for experience within mission-driven organizations such as nonprofits, social services, or healthcare are also key qualifications for this role.
