Customer Success Specialist - AI Tax Software Full-time | Hybrid flexibility after training** $65,000-$75,000 base + performance bonus** Help customers succeed with AI. SmartWiz is building AI software that can be hired as employees to tax professionals and CPAs prepare returns faster and help them serve their customers better in minutes! We are hiring a Customer Success Specialist to make sure customers adopt SmartWiz, get real value from it, stay with us, and become advocates. What you'll do Manage a portfolio of SmartWiz customers after implementation. Build strong relationships with tax professionals and office owners. Proactively check in on usage, goals, and customer health. Identify at-risk customers and help remove adoption blockers. Coach customers on best practices and workflows. Coordinate with Support, Product, and Engineering when issues arise. Identify expansion, referral, testimonial, and advocacy opportunities. Keep customer notes, risks, and next steps accurate in HubSpot. Bring recurring customer feedback back to the team. What success looks like You help customers use SmartWiz consistently, solve problems quickly, and stay successful over time. We measure success through: Retention Usage Referrals and expansion opportunities You may be a great fit if You communicate with warmth and credibility. You are proactive and organized. You can manage multiple relationships at once. You are comfortable with video calls, screen sharing, and CRM tools. You welcome coaching and measurable goals. A college degree is not required. Helpful experience Customer Success, account management, SaaS, fintech, banking, payroll, accounting, tax preparation, professional tax software, HubSpot, or Spanish fluency. Tax experience is helpful but not required. Paid SmartWiz Academy training is provided. Compensation and growth $65,000-$75,000 base Performance bonus tied to retention, adoption, and customer outcomes Paid training and certification Growth opportunities into Senior Customer Success, Strategic Accounts, or leadership roles New hires work primarily from our headquarters during training, with up to two remote days available after certification and demonstrated performance.
