26 Winter Seasonal Tax Preparer (CTP)

Responsibilities Prepare various types of tax returns such as corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, trusts, and payroll. Assist the team with any tax preparation tasks as needed. Maintain the internal database—including updating status steps, setting up new clients, deleting lost clients, and printing due‑date reports for managers. Track processing activities, including timing and completion. Assess electronically submitted returns and instruction sheets for completeness and precision. Scan documents into SurePrep and learn/ use other tax technology applications (e.g., CCH ProSystem FX, FirmFlow, SuperForms), with on‑the‑job training. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to remain seated for at least 75% of the time. Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs (additional lifting may be required for moving and positioning equipment). Occasional bending, lifting, and climbing required to access machinery and workstations. Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals who have inquiries. Ability to work in a high‑stress environment. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Minimum levels of auto insurance coverage required.
