Job Title: Director – Product Marketing, AI Products Experience: 14-18 years Pay Range Minimum: $185,000 per year Pay Range Maximum: $245,000 per year A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. About the Role HCLTech is looking for a Director – Product Marketing to drive positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for our portfolio of AI products, including our sovereign, full-stack enterprise AI offerings. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an experienced product marketer who can turn deep technical capability into sharp market narratives, strong launch campaigns, and sales‑ready messaging — for a category being redefined in real time by agentic AI, sovereign compute, and the shift from IT services to AI‑led solutions. You will report into the AVP of Product Marketing and take direct ownership of positioning, messaging, and launch execution for specific products within HCLTech's AI portfolio, working closely with product, engineering, and sales teams. What You'll Do Own positioning and messaging for a defined set of products within HCLTech's AI portfolio, ensuring clarity and differentiation in a fast‑moving market. Lead go-to-market execution for product launches and major feature releases, including messaging frameworks, sales enablement assets, and launch campaigns. Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for enterprise buyers (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs). Partner closely with product management and engineering to stay ahead of the roadmap and ensure marketing readiness for every release. Develop customer‑facing content including pitch decks, one‑pagers, website copy, FAQs, and competitive battlecards. Work with demand generation and campaigns teams to translate positioning into effective top‑of‑funnel and pipeline‑generating content. Conduct win/loss analysis, customer interviews, and competitive research to continuously sharpen positioning. Support sales enablement efforts, including training sessions and objection‑handling materials for the field sales team. Represent product marketing in cross‑functional planning and act as a key point of contact for regional and partner marketing teams. What We're Looking For 15+ years of overall marketing experience, with a significant portion in product marketing or technology marketing roles. Experience marketing enterprise AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, or complex B2B technology products. A track record of leading go‑to‑market execution for product launches, from messaging through sales enablement. Strong understanding of the enterprise AI landscape Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a business audience. Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams in a fast‑paced, evolving product environment. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Willingness to travel as needed for customer, partner, and industry engagements. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience at a major IT services firm, hyperscaler, or enterprise AI product company. Familiarity with GSI/hyperscaler partnership go‑to‑market motions (e.g., NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft). Experience managing junior product marketers or cross‑functional launch teams. Location This role is based in Santa Clara, California, and requires regular in‑office presence to collaborate closely with regional product, engineering, and executive teams.
