Deposit Operations Support Specialist

Overview Responsible for executing critical functions within the Deposit Operations division, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in daily operations. Responsibilities Track and file either digitally or physically required documents pertaining to deposit accounts Perform deposit maintenance on core system and auxiliary software systems Process and support card functions Process and support IRA functions Process wire transfer requests Process exception items including but not limited to deposit non-post, incoming returns and ACH disputes Perform quality control reviews on all deposit functions Review and/or work periodic deposit reports Adherence to all regulatory compliance policies and procedures Provide exceptional customer service to both customers and branches Qualifications High School diploma or GED Minimum 6-12 months general banking or equivalent experience preferred Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel Knowledge of bank reconcilement procedures preferred Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending, and carrying light items during work.
