Senior Architect

Our client, a leading healthcare technology organization, is seeking a Senior Architect to join their team. As a Senior Architect, you will be part of the Healthcare Application Modernization & Cloud Migration team supporting critical infrastructure and application transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead architecture planning and modernization efforts across clinical and business applications within the healthcare provider ecosystem.
• Assess current-state application portfolios and develop upgrade roadmaps for operating systems, databases, and middleware platforms.
• Design and oversee end-to-end migration strategies for applications moving to new data centers and cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Integration, Security, and Clinical IT to ensure successful project execution.
• Define and implement cloud migration approaches such as lift-and-shift, replatforming, and application refactoring.

What's Needed?

• Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of IT architecture experience, including at least 3 years supporting healthcare provider organizations.
• Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy applications and leading large-scale migrations to cloud platforms and/or new data centers.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and operating system upgrades.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships across multiple teams.
