Data Science Program Lead II
AbbVie
AbbVie seeks a Data Science Program Lead II to serve as the clinical data management expert for assigned studies. This role owns data collection strategy, drives quality standards, manages risks, and partners cross-functionally to enable inspection-ready trial delivery from initiation through database lock.
Responsibilities
- Own data collection strategy, data cleaning, and database lock approaches for assigned studies
- Lead risk-based and continuous data review strategies leveraging centralized monitoring and statistical methods
- Triage data quality standards, identify trends, and drive site-level corrective actions through cross-functional communication
- Perform data mining and custom analytics; develop dashboards and operational metrics to support study execution
- Ensure regulatory compliance with GCP, ICH Guidelines, and internal SOPs; mentor team members and drive process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent; Master's preferred
- 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 8+ years project management experience
- In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology
- Demonstrated functional leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
- Proven ability to coach and mentor in matrix environments
- Strong analytical and effective communication skills
