The CNA works under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and is responsible for assisting with personal care, daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents. The role also includes assisting residents with eating, grooming, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:

- Comfort and Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to residents to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Hygiene and Cleanliness: Ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and free from hazards; assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and patient areas.
- Infection Control: Follow protocols for infection control, including hand hygiene and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications:
- Certification: Must have an active CNA certification from an accredited program.
