TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Fullerton, California, 92835!

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in the specialty preferred. License: Compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required. TNCC and CEN or CPN preferred. Must-Have: High acuity, high volume emergency room experience. Stroke experience required. Epic experience preferred. Description: Emergency Room Nurse position available in a fast-paced environment. The facility sees approximately 230 visits per day. Must be open to working weekends. Will likely exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. Varying patient conditions include respiratory issues, strokes, abdominal pain, cardiac cases, and sepsis. Experience with all age groups is necessary, primarily caring for geriatric and adult patients. Some pediatric experience is acceptable, though patients will be transported as needed. The facility is a designated stroke and STEMI center. Limited pediatric experience is acceptable, but stroke experience is mandatory. Must be flexible and available for floating between like units as needed. Weekend coverage will be necessary, with a requirement to work at least six weekend shifts per six-week schedule cycle. Time off must be requested during submission, and specific scheduling needs may not be granted. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays each year. References covering one year of experience are required prior to hiring. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities if necessary.
