Location: Jersey City NJ (Hybrid- 3days week)

Location: McLean, VA hybrid- 3 days week

Rate Range: $73/hour-73.68/hr on w2 ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This is for a team within Prime Brokerage Market Risk Technology is hiring two senior Java developers to support a multi asset margin and risk platform. The team builds and enhances systems used for risk, PnL, and pricing across equities and derivatives.This is a hands on role working closely with the business on client driven functionality.

Requirements

• 10+ years hands on Java development
• Strong server side experience
• Python required
• Strong understanding of securities and capital markets
• Securities processing experience
• Solid knowledge of PnL and pricing
• Understanding of equities, options, and futures
• Familiarity with bilateral and listed trades
• Experience with risk or margin systems
• Experience with distributed multi asset platforms
• Tomcat required
• SQL nice to have
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude is a plus

• Strong individual contributor
• Heavy coding focus, not a lead role
• Comfortable working with global teams
• Able to work directly with business stakeholders
