Physical Therapist

Job Summary Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment. Job Responsibilities Performs initial and on‑going assessments of patient conditions. Establishes a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires. Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate to the patient’s age and condition. Supervises activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Supervises PT and PTA students completing clinical rotations. Qualifications No experience required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy required upon hire. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Kentucky required upon hire. Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 90 days of employment. Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision.
