Dental - Customer Service Representative

Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our organization. CSR will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service and support. This motivated individual will be responsible to perform and ensure the accuracy of registering all dental patients, including obtaining documentation necessary to establish insurance eligibility. Perform appointment scheduling, a variety of clerical and reception duties for the patient care area, according to practice, routine or established protocol. Collect, count and tally daily cash receipts. Generate/post encounters and post pending charges daily.

Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills; greeting customers in a courteous, efficient and timely manner and respond to questions/complaints and concerns immediately thereby reaching a satisfactory resolution.

Details of Education and Special Skills Required:

High school or equivalent plus a minimum of two years' experience in an ambulatory setting, checking in, making appointments, obtaining insurance verification and pre-authorization.

Effectively process prior authorization requests timely and efficiently.

Verify and comply with payer contractual authorization requirements.

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in navigating EMR (preferably EPIC) systems.

Special Requirements (e.g. ability to speak foreign language, license, etc.):

Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole)
