Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Location: 79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064), Hartford, CT Shift: Interventional Technologist first shift. Mandatory on‑call required. Responsibilities The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Requires comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Works with contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins, and embolization agents. May perform procedures in other departments such as the O.R. or Cath Lab across multiple imaging modalities. This is a 100% clinical position that may require mandatory on‑call as needed. Qualifications State of Connecticut Radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Graduate from an accredited Radiography program. At least 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist; 1‑2 years interventional radiology experience preferred.
