Role: SAP CAP Developer

Contract Length: 6 months CTH

Location: Remote-US

Rate: $70/hr on W2

Seeking an experienced SAP CAP Developer to support application development and delivery initiatives within a SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. This role requires a highly hands-on professional who can quickly contribute, operate independently, and drive development efforts across the SAP BTP ecosystem.

The primary priority for this role is identifying a hands-on SAP CAP Developer with strong SAP BTP delivery experience who can ramp up quickly, work independently, and contribute across both development and implementation activities

Core Responsibilities

• Develop applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), including CDS, Node.js or Java, and OData services within SAP BTP.
• Design and build SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications that integrate with CAP-based backend services.
• Support solution delivery across SAP BTP, including Business Application Studio, destinations, service instances, security and XSUAA configuration, deployments, and troubleshooting activities.
• Independently manage both development and delivery-related responsibilities to support project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing solutions with SAP CAP, including CDS, Node.js or Java, and OData services on SAP BTP.
• Proven SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development expertise, including integration between front-end applications and CAP-based backend services.
• Practical experience delivering solutions within SAP BTP, including:
  • Business Application Studio
  • Destinations
  • Service Instances
  • Security and XSUAA
  • Application deployment
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Experience working with SAP Build Work Zone and GitHub.
