Senior Project Manager - Construction

This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contracts, and client relationships. Ideal candidates have Public Works experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record delivering educational, municipal, or institutional projects. Salary $190K+ plus vehicle package and benefits.

A respected Southern California General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex Public Works and DSA construction projects in the Palmdale area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction leader who wants the autonomy to drive projects from preconstruction through closeout while building meaningful relationships with owners, agencies, and project teams.

Description
Our Senior Project Manager will be resonsible for:

Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout

Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and project forecasts

Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Coordinate with owners, architects, inspectors, consultants, and public agencies

Lead OAC meetings and client communications

Ensure compliance with Public Works and DSA requirements

Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers

Profile
The ideal Senior Project Manager will have:

Experience managing Public Works construction projects

DSA experience strongly preferred

LAUSD experience highly preferred

Strong scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control skills

Ability to lead projects independently

Strong client-facing communication skillseld preferred

Job Offer
We are offering this Project Manager:

$180,000 - $220,000 Base Salary
