What You Will Be Doing

• Delivering comprehensive assessments, issuing diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions, whether independently or with physician collaboration
• Providing education to patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted under your practice scope
• Engaging in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Required Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalents in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
