Maintenance Generalist - 2nd shift - Monett Hatchery #1

Job Overview This position is responsible for repairing and operating machinery, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and welding, and ensuring plant equipment supplies maximum quality while maintaining safety. Responsibilities Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all equipment and company assets. Perform preventative maintenance and adhere to scheduled plans. Use personal hand tools and participate in computer‑based training modules. Work on ladders and in cold, damp, hot, and humid environments. Maintain an up‑to‑date pallet‑jack and forklift license. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience. Continuous employment: at least 6 months with a single employer in the last 12 months. Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and welding. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, and handle extreme temperature changes. Work Shift & Conditions Shift: 3rd Shift. The role requires working in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces. OHS compliance and safety practices are mandatory.
