Patient Support Specialist - Hybrid

Overview Updated: April 30, 2026 Location: Raleigh, NC, United States Job ID: 15177 You’re a proactive problem-solver and have the ability to make customers feel like your friend. In this role, you will be responsible for providing inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical contact center environment. Support is provided to patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and healthcare clinic personnel. This role will work on a hybrid schedule, 2 days in our Morrisville, NC office and 3 days remotely. Responsibilities Provide timely and accurate responses to inbound calls, emails, and other communications from customers. Build rapport and establish positive relationships with patients by actively listening, empathizing, and demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and concerns. Identify and resolve patient issues or, if necessary, elevate them to appropriate internal teams. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions and transactions in our contact center software system. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to pharmaceutical contact center operations, including data privacy and security requirements. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or related fields. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Desired Requirements Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Benefits The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20-23 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions or bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
