THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join its technology team and support the configuration and enhancement of a SaaS-based insurance platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with hands-on Sapiens PolicyPro experience and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective, scalable system solutions.
Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is a key qualification for this position.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Hybrid schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (standard hours 8AM-4:30PM, but flexible start/stop for commutes days)
- Remote: Monday and Friday
- 36-hour average workweek
- Every other Friday off as part of a 9-day biweekly work schedule
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Configure and enhance Sapiens PolicyPro and related SaaS applications to meet business requirements
- Work with business analysts, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions
- Analyze configuration requirements and determine appropriate system solutions
- Estimate, plan, and execute configuration work while meeting project and sprint deadlines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and system issues
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, and other Agile development activities
- Partner with QA teams to develop and execute thorough testing and validation
- Coordinate with release management to ensure successful deployment of configuration changes into production
- Document configuration changes, technical solutions, and system functionality
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other related responsibilities as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 4+ years of professional configuration experience
- Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is highly preferred
- 3+ years of Property & Casualty insurance industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with P&C insurance products, processes, and systems
- Experience working with insurance compliance data, including ISO, is a plus
- Strong understanding of software and computer science concepts, including conditional logic, algorithms, data structures, and complex troubleshooting
- Experience with software development or programming is preferred
- Strong SQL and relational database experience, including SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to quickly learn complex business processes and technical environments
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary: $80,000–$96,000 , depending on experience and qualifications
