Job Title

Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (4x10 Hours, 7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties across multiple specialties including orthopedic, thoracic, vascular, and robotic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation with a 30-minute callback response requirement (2–3 calls within a 6-week matrix)
• Work 3–4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix; weekend shifts may fall on day, evening, or night shift
• Work holidays as needed; holiday shifts may fall on day, evening, or night shift
• Float to sterile processing as needed
• Provide care in a Level I Trauma environment, including potential care for patients with infectious conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) — required; NCCT not accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience across multiple specialties
• Demonstrated experience in robotics, vascular, and thoracic procedures — required
• Level I Trauma experience — required
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Sterile processing experience or familiarity
