Dietary Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at Meadow Falls of Rocky River in Rocky River, OH. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by leading and managing the food service operations. Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage the daily food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and direct the dietary team, including cooks, servers, and nutrition aides
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inventory management and food cost control measures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure resident dietary needs are met and preferences are considered
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Dietary Manager is responsible for performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a dietary management role, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Level of Education not specified
  • Possess a valid food handler's certification or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
