Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

Location: Southern Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Madison & Surrounding Areas)

Experience in precast/prestressed concrete is required for this role.

This position is based out of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and covers the Milwaukee, Madison, and surrounding Southern Wisconsin markets. The role includes a combination of office time, customer visits, jobsite visits, and local travel throughout the territory.

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to manage and expand business throughout Southern Wisconsin. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys growing existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities within the contractor, municipal, engineering, and utility markets.

The successful candidate will inherit an established customer base while developing new customer relationships and driving revenue growth across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers.
\n
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout Southern Wisconsin.
\n
• Schedule and conduct daily customer and prospect visits.
\n
• Sell concrete pipe, precast concrete, masonry, hardscape, and related construction products.
\n
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, municipalities, and utility customers on project opportunities.
\n
• Maintain accurate CRM records, project tracking, and customer follow-up.
\n
• Develop territory growth strategies using market intelligence and sales data.
\n
• Prepare forecasts, pipeline reports, and sales activity updates.
\n
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
\n
• Partner with operations, production, estimating, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Experience selling precast concrete, concrete pipe, underground utility products, drainage systems, masonry, hardscape, or related construction materials.
\n
• Valid driver's license.
\n
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
\n
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
\n
• Proven experience in outside sales, territory management, business development, or account management.
\n
• Experience working with contractors, municipalities, engineers, and infrastructure projects.
\n
• CRM experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
\n
