Customer Service Rep

Job Description

We're looking for a Customer Service Rep to join our team in Albany, United States. In this role, you'll be the friendly face of our organization, helping customers with their inquiries and ensuring they have a positive experience with our products and services. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your empathetic approach and problem-solving skills will make a real difference in customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
• Listen actively to customer concerns and provide accurate, helpful solutions
• Troubleshoot customer issues and resolve complaints with patience and understanding
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Provide product and service information to customers, answering questions thoroughly
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily
• Meet or exceed performance metrics including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments or supervisors
• Customize solutions based on individual customer needs and preferences
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a supportive attitude toward customers

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience or equivalent work experience in a customer-facing role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong active listening and empathetic approach to customer interactions
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on finding customer-centered solutions
• Patience and composure when handling difficult or frustrated customers
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
• Preferred: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Preferred: Product knowledge or familiarity with our industry
• Preferred: Conflict resolution experience
• Preferred: Bilingual capabilities
