Help

• You will interpret and evaluate security program policy and guidance to determine potential organizational impact

• You will analyze the Physical Security program of structures and facilities within the command and tenant activities.
• You will develop and manage security programs to protect critical technologies, information, property, or other program asset

• You will formulate written responses to justify modifications to programs or systems.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assessing installation and regional antiterrorism and force protection (ATFP) programs to determine compliance with higher headquarters law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security requirements; 2) Developing and recommending plan of action and milestones (POAM)/command improvement plans (CIP) to correct identified non-compliant ATFP program requirements; 3) Assisting in the research making policy recommendations to implement all levels of ATFP requirements; 4) Advising top level installation and region leadership and security subject matter experts on developments and advances in security to forecast requirements and improve efficiency of agency-wide ATFP programs. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.**

This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date).
