Production Infrastructure Engineer (AI & Data Pipelines)

Location: Onsite / Hybrid – Sunnyvale, CA (open to other U.S. locations) Duration: 12 Months We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure / Software Engineer to build and operate the backbone of an advanced AI-driven manufacturing platform. This role focuses on production-grade data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and image-processing systems that power real-world factory operations. You will work on systems that are already live in production and are scaling across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership across data ingestion, processing, system reliability, and infrastructure scaling. Must-Have Skills Proven background building and operating production data pipelines Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent) and object storage (e.g., c) Experience with containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes) Track record owning production systems, including monitoring, reliability, and scaling Nice-to-Have Experience with computer vision or image-processing pipelines Exposure to manufacturing, factory, or IoT data systems Experience with Python and ML-related tooling Background working with real-time or high-throughput data systems Responsibilities Build and maintain production data pipelines (ingestion, scheduled processing, monitoring, uptime). Develop and support image-processing pipelines, including large-scale data ingestion and automated workflows. Deploy and operate cloud-native, containerized services in a production environment. Own system reliability, including monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization. Onboard new sites and scale infrastructure as systems expand across locations.
