Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time
Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center
North Andover, MA
$33–$38/hour
Post Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence and quality of life while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.
What You'll Do- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and mobility
- Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to maximize functional independence
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Supportive and collaborative rehabilitation department
