Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center
North Andover, MA
$33–$38/hour

Post Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence and quality of life while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

What You'll Do

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and mobility
Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to maximize functional independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
New graduates are encouraged to apply
