Field Service Power Generation Technician

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Oak Creek, WI. $5000 Sign on Bonus In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience. Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Minimal level of workshop related experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience

QUALIFICATIONS

This is a remote Field Service Power Generation technician position working out of the Oak Creek WI location servicing southeastern Wisconsin out to Madison as needed.
