This role combines hands-on food production with oversight of HACCP procedures, temperature logs, labeling systems, sanitation practices, and recipe execution to ensure all food is prepared safely, consistently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example while ensuring speed, consistency, and accountability across kitchen operationsWHAT YOU WILL DO:Food Production & ExecutionPrepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production specificationsMaintain consistency, portion control, and presentation standards across all menu itemsExecute high-volume production efficiently while maintaining food quality standardsMonitor ticket times and production flow to support operational efficiencyAssist with prep production, station setup, and line execution as neededEnsure all food is properly stored, rotated, labeled, and handled according to food safety standardsKitchen Leadership & Team SupportLead kitchen staff by example through professionalism, urgency, and accountabilitySupport training and coaching of cooks and prep staff on food safety procedures and operational standardsAssist with onboarding new kitchen employees on sanitation and compliance expectationsCommunicate production needs, shortages, and operational concerns to managementHelp maintain a positive, organized, and team-oriented kitchen cultureSanitation & OrganizationMaintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all timesEnsure workstations, prep areas, storage areas, and equipment meet sanitation standardsMonitor cleaning schedules and verify completion of assigned cleaning tasksEnsure proper chemical handling and storage procedures are followedSupport end-of-day cleaning and kitchen closing procedurePrevious experience in high-volume kitchen, commissary, ghost kitchen, or production cooking environment preferredCurrent ServSafe Certification requiredStrong understanding of ServSafe, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulationsExperience with HACCP procedures and kitchen compliance documentation preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesPreferred SkillsExperience leading kitchen teams or shiftsFamiliarity with delivery-focused kitchen operationsUnderstanding of inventory rotation and product quality controlAbility to multitask while maintaining accuracy and complianceStrong sense of urgency without sacrificing food safety standardsWork EnvironmentFast-paced ghost kitchen / production kitchen environmentExposure to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration areasRequires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout shiftsWeekend, evening, and holiday availability may be required based on business needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
