Position Summary UCHealth UCHlth Highlands Ranch Hospital, Highlands Ranch, CO. Department: HRH ER. Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Onsite role; no hybrid or remote option. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years’ experience). State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, Trauma Nurse Core Course, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses. BLS or CPR card valid through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Model proficiency through precepting new staff and others across UCHealth. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Deliver direct emergency department care up to and including Level 1 trauma designation. Follow BCEN’s certification standards within evidence‑based care models. Receive support and guidance from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
