Heavy Equipment Operator - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

* Arrange containers in designated storage locations, optimizing space utilization and ensuring stability.* Use barcode scanning systems to accurately identify, track, and record container movements, including receiving, storing, and shipping.* Conduct daily inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks.* Maintain clear communication with the Yard Supervisor and other team members to coordinate container handling activities and ensure efficient yard operations.* Monitor container inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the Yard Supervisor.* Assist with general yard organization and clean-up as needed.* 1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment, such as wheel loaders, in an industrial setting* Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any required certifications for equipment operation (e.g., MSHA).* Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation, material handling, and railcar unloading.* Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.* Ability to perform pre-shift equipment checks and basic maintenance.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.* Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications**Education:** High school diploma or GED**Experience:** 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred**Computer Experience:** Oracle #J-18808-Ljbffr Cambria
