We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our skilled vetmed team. The ideal candidate needs to have at least 1 year of experience working in a Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel tech or Veterinary Assistant. Will consider candidates with basic kennel or Veterinary Assistant experience only. Our candidate should be a team player, have a positive attitude, and have excellent animal restraint skills. Qualifications 1-3 yrs Veterinary Assistant or Kennel experience Highly organized and able to perform clerical duties Practical knowledge of hospital setup and medical terminology Physically able to assist in cleaning hospital and kennels Familiar with most Heartworm/Flea preventions/Vaccines Able to assist technicians and doctors with miscellaneous duties Restrain animals using low stress techniques Schedule Full-Time: M-F 7:30am-6pm, Saturdays 9am-2pm (Part time negotiable) Job Types Full-time Part-time Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications Experience Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
