Summary Evaluates and treats patient populations for therapy needs. Responsibilities Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ condition. Establishes a plan of care appropriate to identified problems, involving patient/family as desired. Provides education to patient and family/caregiver regarding deficits and appropriate adaptive equipment/support programs; assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Performs all underlying duties, including supervising support personnel per licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
