Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Norwalk, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Norwalk, CT This position involves providing specialized care for mothers and newborns in an acute care medical center. The role includes scheduled inductions, repeat C-Sections, non-stress tests, triage, infant care, and 1:1 RN care for epidural placements and Magnesium Sulfate administration, with possible float to maternity unit. Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/19/2026. Required Qualifications: CT RN License, NRP Advanced Certification, ACLS, BLS, C-EFM through NCC within one year of start, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring. Experience: 2 or more years of experience in labor and delivery; NICU experience and C-EFM certification strongly preferred. Responsibilities include scheduled inductions, C-Sections, non-stress tests, triage, infant care, epidural placements, Magnesium Sulfate administration, and potential float to maternity.
