PlasTech Services, Inc. is seeking one or more Specialty Trades Technicians to perform field work involving fiberglass, chemical resistant coatings, concrete, and welding. We are also open to Helper-level candidates with mechanical trades experience and a strong desire to learn. Role and Responsibilities

• Perform field work with fiberglass, chemical resistant coatings, concrete and chemical resistant concrete, welding, and related specialty trades
• Install and repair fiberglass piping, including hand-lay overwraps, bell and spigot, and tapered joint connections
• Work safely with the chemicals associated with the fiberglass process
• Work in varied field environments, including confined spaces, outdoor sites, and at heights
• Deliver quality work on schedule, putting in the hours needed to finish the job
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with teammates and supervisors
• Work cooperatively as part of a crew
• Helpers: support senior technicians, apply mechanical trades experience, and build skills on the job

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working with or around fiberglass, chemical resistant coatings, concrete and chemical resistant concrete, welding, or similar trades in the field
• Fiberglass piping experience preferred (hand-lay overwraps, bell and spigot, tapered joint), along with a basic understanding of the related chemicals
• Helper candidates: some mechanical trades experience, familiarity with our work environments, a great attitude, and eagerness to learn
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Clean driving record and clear background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening after employment
• Willingness to work in confined spaces, outdoors, and at heights
• Bilingual is a plus

Return-to-Work and Modified Duty

An employee returning from a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness must provide medical documentation, as requested, describing any functional limitations or restrictions. The Company will compare the employee’s documented restrictions against the essential functions described above and, where feasible and consistent with business necessity, consider temporary modified-duty or light-duty assignments. Availability of modified duty is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed for any specific position or duration. Employees are expected to cooperate with the Company’s return-to-work process, including attending scheduled medical evaluations and providing timely updates on their fitness-for-duty status.

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.

Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Regular attendance and punctuality are required of all employees.
