About This Role The Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is responsible for providing patient-centered care, promoting health, and optimizing patient outcomes. Highlights Pay: $38.77 - $55.00/hour Location: Norwich, NY Facility: UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time, Night shift Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 What You'll Do Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Administer medications safely according to United Health Services policy. Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Comply with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model. Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned.
