Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 36-bed unit
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols; no call, no floating, and no 48-hour shifts expected
• Wear required scrub color: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Texas)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical Surgical experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR
