Installation Mechanic

Installation Mechanic C – Bartlett, IL Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM. Pay: $21.50 per hour. Position Summary: Install aftermarket equipment on new service vehicles, vans, and trucks; build vehicles following work instructions and prints; safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical components; perform basic electrical work (wiring, fuses, relays, switches); install strobe lights and related hardware; test and verify all installed parts before final inspection; ensure all items on the work order are completed; work primarily on building and outfitting large quantities of fleet vehicles. Qualifications Ability to understand electrical schematics and 12‑V circuits. Ability to troubleshoot problems. Proficient in using electrical/power tools correctly. Valid driver’s license. Positive attitude and reliability. Physical fitness; must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check.
