Residential HVAC and Home Services

Lead Operations for a Respected, Growing Home Services Company

Compensation: $105,000-$130,000 annually, plus performance bonuses

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Summary

The General Manager will oversee all daily business operations, including the sales, service, installation, and administrative teams. Working closely with the ownership group, this leader will strengthen operational performance, develop department managers, improve accountability, and drive profitable growth while preserving the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the company's daily operations while maintaining profitability and accountability.
• Lead, coach, and support department managers to achieve performance goals.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, employee development, and separation decisions.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and ensure managers are accountable for results.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service across all departments.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including pricing negotiations.
• Review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, and make informed business decisions.
• Partner with ownership on strategic planning and long-term company initiatives.
• Conduct weekly leadership meetings to review performance and priorities.
• Improve internal processes, policies, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure consistent and accurate use of ServiceTitan throughout the organization.
• Evaluate opportunities to expand into additional home service trades.
• Foster a culture focused on accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of senior leadership experience within a residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or similar home services organization.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple departments and leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, gross margins, labor productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Proven ability to coach and develop managers as well as frontline employees.
• Track record of increasing revenue while improving profitability.
• Experience launching or integrating additional service lines is highly desirable.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-through.
• Comfortable using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and business performance.
• A proactive leader who enjoys solving problems, challenging existing processes, and driving positive change.
