Description

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide care to stroke stepdown patients, managing a range of conditions including COPD and pneumonia. Your role involves working night shifts in a fast-paced environment, utilizing specialty equipment and ensuring comprehensive patient assessments. This position stands out for its focus on adult patient care and requires a strong background in med-surg nursing.

Requirements

• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN Licenses.
• Common Diagnosis - Stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in MS with stroke stepdown experience and documents travel experience.
• TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• EMR Exp: EPIC
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Current AHA BLS, NIHSS
• NIH IS REQUIRED FOR THIS UNIT (can be obtained prior to start)
