TITLE: Program Coordinator REPORTS TO: Elementary Director CLASSIFIED: Full Time, Exempt LOCATION: Brookings To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Job Summary The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the Program, including grant opportunities. In addition, the Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing the five key elements of positive youth development: fun, safety, recognition, opportunities & expectations, and supportive relationships in all daily interactions. The Program Coordinator is expected to uphold the Club values inside and outside of the Club and hold their staff accountable for maintaining the Club values. The Club values include teamwork, impact-driven, excellence & good character. Job Duties and Responsibilities General Program Duties Approves program plans, including specialized and night programming. Ensure all programming is high quality, fun, and engaging. Evaluate Club programs, report findings, and take appropriate action to correct. Establishes an environment that ensures the health and safety of members. Expected to be proactive and flexible while working with youth, parents, the community, and Club staff. Assist in designing impact programs that produce measurable outcomes. Responsible for communicating daily with the Elementary Director on overall Club and program operations. Responsible for completing all required program updates for newsletters, publications, etc. Responsible for creating and implementing membership outreach strategies for l youth. Responsible for working in collaboration with community partners to enhance services. All other duties as assigned. Administrative/Management Responsible for holding the biweekly team and individual one-on-one meetings with all direct reports. Responsible for hiring, supervising, and evaluating direct reports. Required to be on the floor assisting with floor management when members are in the Club. Responsible for managing behavioral and disciplinary issues. Provides leadership and direction to volunteers and staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
