Job Role: CDL Class A Truck Driver
Location: Utica–Rome Area, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you'll transport equipment and materials to job sites throughout the Northeast while ensuring safe, timely, and professional deliveries.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced commercial drivers who enjoy a mix of driving and hands-on work in a stable, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and other heavy-duty equipment.
- Transport materials and equipment to assigned locations across the Northeast.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Assist with general labor duties when needed to support field operations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement .
- Minimum 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience .
- Experience operating manual transmission commercial vehicles.
- Strong understanding of DOT safety requirements and commercial driving regulations.
- Ability to safely secure, transport, and handle various types of cargo.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Northeast as required.
- Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
- Basic mechanical or vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
