Kelly is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory & Materials Coordinator to join our team in Schenectady, NY. In this role, you will support our operations and warehouse teams by managing inventory processes, troubleshooting transactional issues, and ensuring accuracy throughout the materials management cycle.

Position: Inventory & Materials Coordinator
Location: Schenectady, NY
Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour
Working Hours: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and validate incoming work orders and reports utilizing SAP.
• Generate and manage pick tickets, cycle count sheets, and standard KPI reports.
• Audit, correct, and maintain proper inventory levels in SAP.
• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in production orders, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Provide operational support for order issues, product returns, and nonconforming products.
• Research root causes for transactional issues and assist in the creation of process improvement initiatives.

Shop Floor Material Management:

• Respond to front-line escalations in a timely and professional manner, resolving or escalating as appropriate.
• Conduct daily audits of bulk materials and monitor job audits from initiation to completion.
• Label job materials accurately and assist in the return-to-stock process.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team on picking issues and materials management.
• Attend regular meetings (turnovers, L1, L2) to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Support preparation for PI/Cycle Counts and help locate misplaced materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in ERP systems, particularly SAP Powermax; strong understanding of materials distribution, logistics, and inventory management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot transactional and inventory issues.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and data entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and quickly gain product knowledge.
