Director of Finance And Accounting

We are partnering with a PE-backed distribution company that is growing fast and has no plans to slow down. Through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic expansion, this business is scaling meaningfully and they need a finance leader who is ready to grow with it. This means coming in, taking ownership, and putting your fingerprints on what this finance function looks like one year from now and beyond.

This is a rare two-for-one opportunity. You will own the full accounting operation AND have a genuine seat at the table on strategy, M&A integration, and shaping how the finance function scales with the business. You will not be inheriting a finished product. You will be building one.

What you will own:

• The entire accounting function, including month-end close, GAAP reporting, and multi-entity consolidations
• Audit and tax, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors
• Internal controls, financial governance, and the policies that will support a much larger business
• Cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Cost accounting and inventory management as the company scales
• NetSuite optimization and the systems infrastructure that supports growth
• M&A integration as the company continues to acquire, with more deals in the pipeline
• A team you will hire, develop, and build into a best-in-class accounting organization

Who you are:

• CPA is absolutely required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and or finance experience
• You have been a Controller and own finance as well
• Multi-entity and consolidation experience
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or product-based industries is a plus
• You have thrived in a PE-backed, high-growth, or acquisition-driven environment
