Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster effective coping strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to facilitate understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective and responsive care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay current with the latest research in mood disorders to enhance the efficacy of treatment approaches.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between $70,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
