CST who can perform orthopedics, plastics, and podiatry.Description: This position is located in a surgical unit with 7 beds. The unit has a staff of 3, including 1 RN on day shift and 2 CSTs. There are no night shifts available. The patient-to-staff ratio is approximately 4 to 5 cases per team. No specific equipment is listed for this unit, and no EMR system is mentioned. On-call requirements include 4 to 5 call days. Staff may need to float between the main surgical unit and an additional campus.Preferred or Nice to Have: Candidates with at least 3 years of experience for Circulators and CSTs will be given priority. Typical procedures performed include: Total joint replacements. Hip replacements. Tibia and fibula surgeries. Surgery for ankles and feet, including mid-foot joints. Plastics, including breast reduction and augmentations. Robotic surgeries, including XI and DV5, and breast reconstruction using DIEP flaps.Best Personality Fit: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take trauma call are essential. Additional Information: All surgical services employees have been with the unit for 3 or more years.
