Registered Nurse - Float - Peds/PICU/NICU Sign On Bonus Potential: $10,000.00 Location: Baltimore, MD Full-Time with Weekend Commitment – Day/Night rotation. Rotating 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Salary: $37.15–$57.58 per hour (experience based). Job Summary As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age‑appropriate patient care and serves as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. General Requirements Telemetry experience required. Peds, PICU, or NICU experience required. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. RN license in Maryland or an applicable Compact State. Additional Requirements for Pediatric Float Roles Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Stable within 6 months of hire. Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire. Preferred: Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal. Additional Requirements for Critical Care Float Roles Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Trauma certification within 6 months of hire. NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire. Float Pool staff will follow a 6‑week schedule and a weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays and 2 difficult‑to‑staff days.
